What is a Cloze+, anyway? A Cloze+ is similar to an ordinary cloze, but there are a few slight differences. The occurrence of blanks is one EVERY fifth word and there's a list of clues for the student to choose from.

#1. A blank every fifth word. #2. A list of Clues. Lexical items only.
#3. They include nouns, verbs, adjectives ( and adverbs) in their base form, i.e. "quickly" will appear as "quick".
#4. Clue will adopt the base form as in #3 above. The adjective form is preferred to the adverb, the noun to the verb, etc., and the shortest form - prefixes and suffixes NOT included - to a longer one; for example, "intolerable" should appear as "tolerate".
